OUR STORY…. Hands of Faith Fair Trade Ministry began in 2005 with fair trade coffee sales at Lord of Life Lutheran Church in The Woodlands, TX. In 2013, we opened the doors to our own storefront, Hands of Faith Fair Trade Store, with a variety of artisan-made and small farmer-grown products. Our growing ministry is run by volunteers who are passionate about educating people about the power of fair trade. We currently sell items from more than 40 countries.
You can browse the shelves stocked with coffee, chocolate, olive oils, vinegars, spices, sauces, jewelry, paper goods, home and garden décor, scarves, clothing, purses, skincare products, children’s and pet products, and much more.
OUR MISSION…
IS TO EMPOWER THOSE WHO HAVE LIMITED OPPORTUNITIES. WE BUILD PARTNERSHIPS WITH ARTISANS AND FARMERS TO HELP THEM BUILD STABLE INCOME BY PROVIDING A PLACE TO SELL THEIR PRODUCTS. THEY ARE PAID A FAIR WAGE TO ENSURE THEM CAN SUPPORT THEMSELVES AND THEIR FAMILIES. THROUGH OUR FAIR TRADE PARTNERS AND CUSTOMERS, WE HOPE TO CONTINUE TO PROVIDE A MEANS FOR COMBATING GLOBAL POVERTY AND WORK TOWARDS BUILDING BETTER LIVES FOR INDIVIUALS AND THEIR COMMUNITIES.
